Summer BBQ and Picnic

Century Park, Vernon Hills
It's summer and GBTU is ready to celebrate a great year with a chapter picnic. Instead of having a regular membership meeting July 9th, we will be meeting at the Boat Dock Shelter at Little Bear Lake (Century Park) in Vernon Hills. There will be Brats, Burgers, and Dogs along with fun for the whole family. The banks here are wide open and perfect for casting. So, bring your favorite rod! We will be starting at 6:00 and having fun until they kick us out at dusk. This should be a fun evening, so bring a frisbee, and the family.
The picnic shelter is located at the Century Park entrance off Lakeview Parkway (from the north, take Gregg's Parkway to Lakeview and go south, and from the south, take Route 60 or Hawthorn Parkway to Lakeview, then go north). The turn in is just past the church. Map
