You will not want to miss our January 8th GBTU meeting! Eric Heckman will be giving a presentation on the craft of building bamboo fly rods. Eric's shop, Coren's Rod and Reel in Norwood Park, Chicago, is the clearinghouse for rod builders in the Chicagoland area. He will bring handmade bamboo rods designed to be used in local trout streams along with some of the special tools needed to build them. His presentation promises to be very informative and entertaining.
