Lee grew up fishing and skiing in the mountains of Northern Colorado. Through his youth he fished with his grandfather in the Rocky Mountain West, and in college became a winter tail water addict. Since then Lee has fished all over North America, as well as in South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. Before working for Orvis he spent 6 memorable months touring the American and Canadian West, fishing and sleeping out of his truck.
Recently Lee toured the Korean peninsula after getting married and had an opportunity to fish for the native fish of the area. The demilitarized zone running along the border of the two Koreas is one of the largest mined and heavily defended areas in the world and by ironic consequence one of the most preserved places for trout in Asia. Lee will present slides on his trip and talk about the future of Salmonids in Asia.
