Trout in the Classroom Release

Fung Chin and Joan Butzow took approximately 500 trout from Lake Forest High School to Caledonia, IL at the Kinnikinnick Creek park where the fish were released in conjunction with the release of fish from a program sponsored by the Oak Brook TU chapter. It was great to see the 7th graders from Oak Brook releasing the fish and checking the water for what bugs they can see and for Ph, temperature etc. The fish were released one by one into the Kinnikinnick, which has holdover trout from previous stocking programs. They are hoping for future reproduction of the fish that are being released.
